Resources | Employer Information - Greencard Sponsorship for Foreign Drivers
Do you know about the Green Card program that allows truckers from around the world to come to the USA?
You can sponsor from 1 to a 100. The drivers commit to working for you for a minimum of 2 years, and can then work elsewhere if they choose.
This is an excellent long term driver retention program. We can do the processing for any drivers you know, or we can recommend drivers. The drivers we recommend are
Over 25
Have over 2 years OTR experience (most have over 10 years experience)
Good English speaking, reading and writing
No accidents
No drug convictions
No DUI – DWI in previous 10 years
No more than 2 moving violations in previous 2 years
 The countries we have recommended drivers from so far are: Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Ireland, Jamaica and South Africa.
We complete the work verification to D.O.T standard and assist with the relocation.
For you to join our program and sponsor drivers, all you need to do is tell us how many you would like to sponsor, fill in our Expression of Interest form, and give us your specific hiring criteria. We add you to our list of employers to offer interested drivers. We send you the driver’s application and home country MVR.
The process can take 18 months and up to 3 years to actually get the driver. This depends what country they are from. The immigration approval generally only takes 6 months; the rest of the time is waiting in a queue for the immigrant visa. The timeframe can decrease at short notice if the Government issue more visas. (which is being debated in congress at the moment).
